Privacy on the VendorPanel Pty Ltd web sites and sub-sites (the "Sites") is of great importance to us. We have developed our own privacy principles, which embody the Australian National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act). VendorPanel Pty Ltd also complies with the Australian Spam Act 2003, which deals with restrictions on sending emails. Although our policy specifically addresses VendorPanel Pty Ltd and its obligations in respect of the laws of Australia, where practicable international offices apply the principles and the processes set out below, subject to reasonable requirements of local law.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how VendorPanel Pty Ltd, its Services, subsidiary and affiliate corporations, successors, and assigns (collectively referred to as "VendorPanel ") uses and protects the information you provide. This privacy policy applies to this World Wide Web site and any variations or successors to this website, any computer software downloadable or otherwise available from the Site and any VendorPanel Services purchased or otherwise made available from the Site ("Services"). This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") applies to all Users ("Users") of the VendorPanel Services.

We reserve the right to change this Statement at any time. VendorPanel Pty Ltd continually strives to implement new technologies and processes to better protect you, your privacy and your use of the Services. In no event will these changes result in the degradation of any of the security measures designed to protect you from unauthorized disclosure, as such measures are described in this Privacy Policy.

Scope

HowToPurchase explicitly intends to provide Users with instructions on your purchasing process or procurement policy based on the information entered by you into the HowToPurchase Application, including any links entered by you.

This inherently means that any information entered into the HowToPurchase tool by you WILL be provided to other Users with access to the HowToPurchase widget linked to your account (either via URL or embedded using iFrame). It is important that you do not include any information into the instructions that you do not want shared with Users. No personal information should be included by you in the purchasing instructions, unless you explicitly want these shared, and have permission to share them, (we recommend you do not include personal information).

Collection, Use and Disclosure

Registration and Profile

Members are responsible for the quality, accuracy, and integrity of any information provided in their account details or profile. Members can update their personal information at any time by logging onto the Service and editing their account information and profile. Data may be stored in archive for record keeping, security and audit purposes. Customers can view their updated profile to confirm their edits have been made.

VendorPanel uses the information that we collect to set up and deliver the Service for individuals and their organizations. Customer email addresses and any personal customer information will not be distributed or shared with third parties. Separately, customers are also asked to provide an email address when registering for the Service, in order to receive a username and password. We may also email information regarding updates to the Service or company, and will send a Customer Newsletter. Again, email will not be distributed or shared and customers data is private.

Customers of the Service will be using the Site to host data and information ("Data"). VendorPanel will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such Data except as provided in the License Agreement, or as may be required by law. Individual records may at times be viewed or accessed only for the purpose of resolving a problem, support issue, or suspected violation of the User License Agreement, or as may be required by law. Of course, customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and password.

Cookies

When you interact with the Service we strive to make that experience easy and meaningful. When you come to our Web site, our Web server sends a cookie to your computer. Cookies are files that Web browsers place on a computer's hard drive and are used to tell us whether customers and visitors have visited the Site previously. Standing alone, cookies do not identify you personally. They merely recognize your browser. Unless you choose to identify yourself to VendorPanel, either by responding to a promotional offer, opening an account, requesting a call back, or submitting feedback or a question, you remain anonymous to the Service. Cookies come in two flavors: session and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during an online session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you've closed your browser or turned off your computer. They include such information as a unique identifier for your browser.

The Service uses session cookies containing encrypted information to allow the system to uniquely identify you while you are logged in. This information allows the Service to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies help us make sure you are who you say you are after you've logged in and are required in order to use the VendorPanel applications and Services. The Service uses persistent cookies that only the Service can read and use, to identify the fact that you are a Service customer or prior visitor to the website (whatever the case may be). We are especially careful about the security and confidentiality of the information stored in persistent cookies. For example, we do not store account numbers or passwords in persistent cookies. Users who disable their Web browsers' ability to accept cookies will be able to browse our Website but will not be able to successfully use our Service.

Third Party Cookies: We may from time to time engage third parties to track and analyze non-personally identifiable usage and volume statistical information from visitors to our website to help us administer our website and improve its quality. Such third parties may use cookies to help track visitor behaviour. Such cookies will not be used to associate individual website visitors to any personally identifiable information. All data collected by such third parties on behalf of the Service is used only to provide us with information on site usage and is not shared with any other third parties.

Third-Party Sites

The Site contains links to other web sites. VendorPanel Pty Ltd is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other web sites. Customers and visitors will need to check the policy statement of these others web sites to understand their policies. Customers and visitors who access a linked site may be disclosing their private information. It is the responsibility of the user to keep such information private and confidential.

Data quality

Members are responsible for the quality, accuracy, and integrity of any information provided in their account details or profile. If you think that any information we hold about you or another member is inaccurate, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to ensure that it is corrected.

Data security

Our Site has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Data under our control. The Site is hosted in a secure server environment that uses firewalls and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Finally, the Service provides unique user names and passwords that must be entered each time a customer logs on. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of Data.

iFrame embedding of your data

A key feature of the site is the ability to "embed" your guide onto another website or intranet connected to the internet. We provide you with a piece of code that you can paste on your sites. By definition, any site where this code is pasted will show your guide data.  You are solely responsible for the content and data you place within the guide, and where this code is embedded.

Access

You have a right to access most personal information we hold about you. Please contact us to ask for access to your information, or if you have a complaint concerning your information privacy. We may deny your request in some circumstances. If we do this, we will tell you why.
